Look Who’s Visiting

The CELL’s multimedia exhibit has received numerous accolades from the community and experts alike for playing a significant role in the prevention of domestic terrorism. It has become an experience that cannot be missed and has been visited by thousands of people including: 70 U.S. cabinet members, U.S. Senators and Representatives, foreign dignitaries, as well as hundreds of school groups and law enforcement personnel.

“Thank you to the CELL for what it does on a daily basis, [for] the example it sets, [for] the kinds of things that it is sharing across the nation and [for] really being such an integral part of our efforts to make sure that everyone recognizes a shared responsibility where security is concerned.” – The Honorable Janet Napolitano, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security

“[The CELL] is a remarkable notion…we can have a public discourse on [terrorism]…which we should be committed to dealing with, not in a breathless way, but in a resolute and thoughtful way to make a difference in our communities and in our country.” – The Honorable Tom Ridge, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security (2003 – 2005)

“[The CELL] is not just an exhibit that you passively absorb, but it is really part of a larger effort to educate and empower citizens so that they can be involved in protecting their own communities…Some of the most significant plots that have been discovered and disrupted by law enforcement have been a result of a tip by a private citizen, someone who saw something and spoke up.” – The Honorable Michael Chertoff, U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security (2005 – 2009)
