The exhibit Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism provides an intellectual framework designed to educate the public about various aspects of global terrorism. It encourages visitors to think about the moral, philosophical, legal, and practical questions terrorism raises in our society today.

The CELL collaborated with many of the world’s preeminent experts on the subject of terrorism to develop the content for “Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere: Understanding the Threat of Terrorism.”Contributors span all political, national and religious persuasion, and include the following, among others:

Brian Jenkins is a senior advisor to the RAND Corporation with expertise in terrorism, counterinsurgency and homeland security.He is a highly-respected author and commentator, as well as a former Captain in the U.S. Army’s Special Forces, former deputy chairman with Kroll Associates, and former member of the White House’s Special Commission on Aviation Safety and Security.

James “Chip” O. Ellis, III is a research and program director for the Memorial Institute for the Prevention of Terrorism (MIPT), a program funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, which serves as the focal point for all information-sharing on terrorism issues.He is a nationally recognized expert on WMD, counterterrorism and natural disasters.

Zainab Al-Suwaij is the executive director of the American Islamic Congress, an organization that fights for moderation, interfaith understanding, gender equality and peace.Having fled Iraq during Saddam Hussein’s reign, she is a former professor at Yale University and a sought-after speaker and commentator on network television.She was named an Ambassador of Peace by the Interreligious and International Peace Council and has received numerous awards on behalf of the American Islamic Congress.

Bruce Hoffman is a tenured professor of security studies at Georgetown University.His previous positions include chair of counterterrorism and counterinsurgency at the RAND Corporation and an advisor to the Iraq Study Group.

Clifford May is president of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and a former New York Times correspondent.He is a highly-regarded commentator on national security issues and previously served on the Iraq Study Group.
